When Life Gets Tough

When you are radically authentic, when you act from grounded integrity in a world that’s been conditioned by smoke and mirrors.

It’s tough, it’s so fucking tough…

Like salmon swimming up stream fighting with everything they’ve got, being thrashed against rocks, ripping their flesh,…

they rest, and then muster up whatever strength that’s left of their beaten bodies, yet they keep swimming against the current (resistance) towards their destiny (purpose)

Because they are (we are) driven by something innate within us (spirit) that is more powerful than any force pushing against us.

And if we only just rest (be still and know) for but a moment. Maybe close our eyes, take a few minutes to connect with our breathe, or a walk in the forest.

It’s right there for us to access.

But not without our participation.

So today, remember this. And remember each one of us are on similar, yet unique journeys.

And when life gets tough; to give ourselves, and others, the space, to channel the strength we need to continue our journeys, home.
