He is The Stillness Before All Forces of Expression and He is The Source of The Force as Well.

I had a very amusing conversation with The Divine this evening (last night now). At one point he was talking about micromanaging the entirety of existence. He was telling me, “well… you can’t stand still. What do they say about The Gunas? They do what they do, regardless of any effort on your part to silence them. Even I, visible, cannot cease to do what I do or the whole thing would fall apart. Can you imagine what it is like to be in control of everything all the time?”

“No Lord, I can’t imagine. How do you accomplish that?”

“I have a system,” he said. That cracked me up! It was funny and true at the same time. You had to be there. Given the run-up, (cause the conversation had already been going on for ten minutes) it was a remarkable punch-line, AND a summation, and… an act of visceral affirmation on the part of The Divine.

He also said, “Let’s have fun. I want you to not worry about any of the things that sometimes pass through your mind as concerns. It’s like you say… (and you have to get this) it’s not your department. Toss whatever concerns you think you have right out the window. I’ll catch them and sort them, accordingly… unless I let them fly right by.”

Some might say, “Well, you know, that’s not God talking to you. At best it is someone who is working for him.” I agree and disagree. It is God talking to me, but he uses the step-down transformers of representatives of the Angelic and the Devic Realms to do so. It’s still God. People find it hard to believe, most especially when it is not happening to them… and it is only not happening to them because they don’t want it to; not really. People don’t understand how God can be everywhere and still communicate with the life forms that are an extension of him; from both sides of The Dial. That… I do understand, and it works for me.

It seems that the real key to union with The Divine is loving The Divine. Sounds so simple, doesn’t it? In Chapter 12 of The Gita, it reads;

“Arjuna-

Of those steadfast devotees who love you and

those who seek you as the eternal formless

Reality, who are the more established in yoga?

Krishna-

Those who set their hearts on me and

worship me with unfailing devotion and

faith are more established in yoga.

As for those who seek the transcendental Reality,

without name, without form, contemplating

the Unmanifested, beyond the reach of thought

and of feeling, with their senses subdued and

mind serene and striving for the good of all

beings, they too will verily come unto me.

Yet hazardous and slow is the path to the Unrevealed,

difficult for physical creatures to tread. But they

for whom I am the supreme goal, who do all work

renouncing self for me and meditate on me with

single-hearted devotion, these I will swiftly rescue

from the fragment’s cycle of birth and death,

for their consciousness has entered into me.

Still your mind in me, still your intellect in me, and

without doubt you will be united with me forever.

If you cannot still your mind in me, learn to do so

through the regular practice of meditation. If you

lack the will for such self-discipline, engage yourself

in my work, for selfless service can lead you at last to

complete fulfillment. If you are unable to do even

this, surrender yourself to me, disciplining yourself

and renouncing the results of all your actions.

Better indeed is knowledge than mechanical

practice. Better than knowledge is meditation.

But better still is surrender of attachment to

results, because there follows immediate peace.

That one I love who is incapable of ill will, who

is friendly and compassionate. Living beyond

the reach of I and mine and of pleasure and

pain, patient, contented, self-controlled, firm

in faith, with all their heart and all their mind

given to me – with such as these I am in love.

Not agitating the world or by it agitated, they

stand above the sway of elation, competition,

and fear: that one is my beloved.

They are detached, pure, efficient, impartial,

never anxious, selfless in all their undertakings;

they are my devotees, very dear to me.

That one is dear to me who runs not aft er the

pleasant or away from the painful, grieves not, lusts

not, but lets things come and go as they happen.

That devotee who looks upon friend and foe with

equal regard, who is not buoyed up by praise nor

cast down by blame, alike in heat and cold, pleasure

and pain, free from selfish attachments, the same

in honor and dishonor, quiet, ever full, in harmony

everywhere, firm in faith – such a one is dear to me.

Those who meditate upon this immortal

dharma as I have declared it, full of faith and

seeking me as life’s supreme goal, are truly my

devotees, and my love for them is very great.”

It seems that God is looking in the mirror. He sees what he sees. He does not see what we see. Oh! He is aware of it. He is aware of every aspect of our being, but he does not see us as we see ourselves, and others as well. He sees impersonally. We see PERSONALLY, because of The Personality, which is the playing field of The Ego, which is The Separated Self. Nothing but strife and contention go on where The Separated Self is involved.

The World is warfare, and we are The Peacemakers. We do not make peace in The Halls of Power. We do not make peace through forms of war or with the force of money. We make peace first with ourselves and manifest a resonance with God (rather he manifests it, we just stand in readiness) then we make peace with life in our every encounter. This is not as easy as it sounds, and I am not trying to paint it that way. THEN AGAIN…. it is that easy, BUT… you have to be constant at it. That is where the difficulty comes in. People make halfhearted attempts and get mixed results. People talk and talk, and… neglect to do.

It is no grand mystery why conditions are twisted and perverse. It is ignorant desire, and then we have to justify that desire by lying to ourselves, and then others. I came to an understanding not to do anything… ANYTHING that I would not do in public. It is the same with anything I say. I would say it anywhere. It makes you think about what you do and say… unless… like far too many of us… in times like these, we don’t think about what we say and do. We might have an eye out to see if anyone is watching, BUT… does the implications… both possible and real, come to our attention when we are in the middle of it? Not as far as what I see is demonstrated in The World.

You don’t get good news from a media source: Scandal… Fabrications… innuendo… partisanship, well, the list is long. Truth is seldom in evidence, except inadvertently. Honor and Integrity have left the thoroughfare. The euphemistic mean streets are now real. This is all by design, lest you be troubled. PURPOSE OF DEMONSTRATION is about seeing what we will do. Whatever we persist in, we will see realized AT SOME POINT. Whatever methods and forms of behavior we exhibit are what we are going to encounter. It’s like that old saying about being careful how you treat people on your way up… because those are the very people you are going to see on your way down. It’s Purpose of Demonstration again.

God goes to The Movies. He is the ultimate voyeur. He is the stillness before all force of expression and he is the source of the force as well. The result of his stillness is the energizing of Prakriti, the whirling forms of The Divine Mother, who is the totality of the rest of it. Let me SERIOUSLY counsel one and all, to take great care with how you treat women because that is your next port of entry and the conditions you meet up with, are determined by your previous behavior.

People come here, not thinking about how they might have gotten to wherever their here is, and then they just do however they feel about it (nice syntax mangling, eh?), never realizing that they are building their worlds to come with the actions of their every thought, word, and deed; AND THEN??? They are reborn of a woman; which woman? Where? Yeah. Existence is wall-to-wall with The Purpose of Demonstration. Some very big demonstrations are coming.

It is unfortunate karma to blindfold yourself to the realities of material existence.

Did I mention that The Divine Mother is a big part of what sees you out when you leave here? Ah… how forgetful of me… well, I must have put it somewhere. Oh… there it is. (grin) If you don’t make it to The Sun then you go to The Moon to be suited up for your next performance. She is intimately involved in that whole Birth and Death thing. She composes the form taken as the matter loaned to you for your upcoming scenes.

So… all this bullshit that is going on in The World with self-will and unbridled hunger running wild? The fear and panic… the self-centered suicide dances; what’s that all about? What you are seeing are The Demonstrations, as all that propels the carnal mind, meets up with the consequences of that pursuit. Here you are seeing what people believe they have carefully hidden, acting out in all that they say and do. The tag-team of Apocalypse and Awakening are in The Octagon with Self-Deception and Denial. Since either one of those can handle both of the others, with one hand tied behind his back, the outcome is not in doubt. The only thing in doubt is how brutal it gets before Self-Deception crumbles to the mat and Denial has its back broken for The Purpose of Demonstration.

I tremble to think of all the many ways to go wrong, and the enemies we must battle against; all the permutations of our shadow-self, dancing on the walls of the cave. Only one thing can triumph against all of these bewildering forms, endlessly interacting with each other in those timeless rituals, that reproduce endless replications of what came before… and that is Love. The victory goes to Love, and God is that Love in conscious form. One has only to come into harmony with The Divine, resident within and concealed without… and there is NOTHING FURTHER FOR YOU TO DO!

From that point, you are on God’s houseboat. He is headed somewhere on The River of Life, with his hand on the tiller. You don’t have to concern yourself with any of that. It’s not your department, and life PROVES this to us over, and over, and over, and we refuse to see the pattern. Certain features of life are not in our hands. Some are. Once that gets sorted you will be enjoying the ride. It’s a big houseboat, and there’s a lot to do there.
