Cleveland Browns: Greg Little's TD Celebration Could Be Viewed as a Sign of Camaraderie

Wins may be hard to come by for the Cleveland Browns, who currently hold an 0-2 record after Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, a sense of team comradery appears to be one thing the Browns will have no trouble finding.

Despite being down by seven points after the score, Browns wide receiver Greg Little made a statement by holding up 2-3 with his fingers while dancing in the endzone after his touchdown catch with 7:11 left in the game.

While most fans would have a problem with any player celebrating his individual success while the team trails, Little had an entirely different explanation for his actions.

Little took to twitter at 5:32 pm to explain , “One time for the homie 2-3 @JoeHaden23.”

Little’s tweet was an obvious reference to cornerback Joe Heden, who is in the midst of a four-game suspension for violation of the league’s banned substance policy.

By most accounts, Haden–violations aside–has been a consummate team player for the Browns, and Little’s gesture comes as a clear sign of support for a fellow teammate as Cleveland looks to develop a singular identity.

The Browns may have a difficult time putting together a successful campaign in 2012, but it appears that the team will easily find a way to believe in itself.

Fans may criticize the Browns for dropping a second consecutive game, but Little most likely summed up the thoughts of his teammates when he tweeted, “I really don’t care what the fans say I really could careless! I ride with the 53 men in the locker room and the coaches that’s it”

As long as the Browns players’ belief in one another results in continued development, it’s tough to argue with Little’s expression.
