Ohio State sophomore wide receiver Devin Smith did the unthinkable in the Buckeyes season opener against Miami University.

Early in the second quarter, down 3-0, from the Miami 23-yard line, Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller dropped back and threw a fade to the back right corner of the end zone; Smith went up with one hand over his head, caught it cleanly and brought it down safely for a touchdown.

While it’s only Week 1 of the regular season, Smith’s completely ridiculous catch will likely stand up all season as the best catch of the year.
