Junior Golf Camps Set to Start June 10 at Golfer’s Grail in Tampa

The 2013 Junior Golf Academy at Golfer’s Grail in Carrollwood will feature weekly golf camps for Tampa Bay area youth.

TAMPA, Fla. – May 31, 2013 – Golfer’s Grail, Tampa’s premier indoor golf facility, is hosting several week-long golf camps this summer. The PGA Apprentice-taught camps are geared for kids ages 5-14.

Top-of-the-line golf simulators provide a detailed analysis on every swing, allowing instructors to pinpoint exact irregularities and give youth personalized golf instruction. Lessons will be conducted at a maximum teacher/junior ratio of 5:1.

“The Junior Golf Academy offers kids a fun and interactive way to learn and enjoy golf, and they don’t have to play in the Florida heat,” said PGA Apprentice Jason Sproat. “The camp will help develop children’s skills and health all the while doing something they enjoy.” 

The air-conditioned facility provides a perfect environment for learning and fun. Each day of the indoor golf camp will include instruction, contests, prizes, play on one of 60 golf courses and a mid-morning snack. 

Golf camp dates include June 10 – 14, June 17 – 21, June 24 – 28, July 8 – 12 and July 15 – 19 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.  For each session, the Monday-Thursday portion of the academy is $115 and the optional tournament day on Friday is $25.
