Ronnie Hillman rushes for career-high 100 yards

Starting for injured Broncos running back Montee Ball, Ronnie Hillman gained 100 yards on 24 carries and added three catches for 16 yards on five targets in today’s win over the Jets.

It’s now the second consecutive 100-yard game allowed by the Jets, who gave up 114 rushing yards to Branden Oliver last week.

Juwan Thompson gained 38 yards on eight carries and surprisingly, C.J. Anderson had zero touches.

Hillman and the Broncos will face the 49ers in Week 7. On the season, the 49ers have allowed 3.78 yards per carry to opposing running backs.

While next week’s matchup is difficult, Hillman should get plenty of touches and is at least a flex option in Week 7.
