Week 5 FanDuel DFS Lineup: $250K Survivor Tournament Rd. 2

***Attention: You may use the following advice and lineup for any 50/50 contest that is unlikely to fill up. Last week we entered the $250K Sunday NFL Survivor Tournament on FanDuel. Our lineup successfully qualified us for the 2nd round. This week there are 43,000 lineups remaining and 32,000 will advance. We decided to treat this contest similarly to 50/50s with large overlays like we frequently see on FantasyDraft.com or OwnThePlay.com. The strategy in a contest like this is much like the old joke my grandfather would tell: “You don’t have to be faster than the bear. You just have to be faster than your friends.” With this in mind, we decided to eat as much chalk as we could with this lineup. If we can connect ourselves to a large group of people, it should be much easier to out run 11,000 of them. In other words, by selecting players that will be highly owned, we can either rise with a large amount of people (and be successful) or we’ll have a large amount of people to compete with for the few remaining spots (with our upside players).
