Help Should Be On The Way

The struggling San Francisco Giants are looking for anything to jump start their winning ways in the 2nd half. However, they’ve only managed to win 1 game since the All-Star break. They’ve been battling injuries throughout the year.

Third baseman Matt Duffy is getting over the hump and could start his rehab this weekend. He’s been out for over a month and the Giants hope they can get him back in their lineup in early August.

Second baseman Joe Panik is scheduled to start his rehab today with the Sacramento River Cats. Panik has been out since June 27 with concussion symptoms , and hopes to be back with the G-Men by the end of the week.

Right Fielder Hunter Pence is back to his rehab stint with the River Cats and hopes to not have any setbacks. The Giants are hoping he can rejoin the team by the end of the week, but he’s had setbacks already, so only time will tell for Pence.
