Looking Ahead to the Next Four Games for the 3-2 Raiders

The Raiders have already have a ton of turmoil to start the first month and a half of the 2019 season. From their public breakup with Antonio Brown, to the issues the team has had closing out games, the Raiders last season in Oakland hasn’t exactly gone smoothly.

That doesn’t say that it’s going to be easy for this team to stay in the AFC playoff mix, and today we look at the next four games which could easily define their season.

10/20 at Green Bay

The Raiders in Green Bay just smells like disaster, but this could be a huge breakout party for this sliver and black squad which could catch the Packers sleeping on a short week after a Monday night game.

A fast start would go an very long way in making it a game, and then at that point you take your chances late in the game to try and get the upset.

10/27 at Houston

DeShaun Watson looks like an MVP thus far this season, and the Raiders have to be prepared for him on the ground as well as in the air.

The best way to hold down Watson is simply to keep him off the field. Leave that to the run game and Josh Jacobs for the Raiders to try and do their best in two weeks in Texas.

11/3 vs Detroit

The Lions have hung in just about every game thus far in 2019, and many felt they were robbed in their one-point loss to the Packers in Lambeau on Monday night.

Matthew Stafford and the Lions can score, and it will be on the Raiders defense to make sure to pressure him and not give time in the pocket.

Like the game against the Texans, running the ball will help the Raiders in this one.

11/7 vs Los Angeles

The Raiders final game of the four-game stretch will see them host the struggling Los Angeles Chargers on a Thursday night at the Black Hole.

The Chargers have lost two in a row and overall are not looking like the team that got to the AFC second round of the playoffs last year.

Philip Rivers against the Raiders is always a fun battle, and this one should live right up to the hype in primetime.
