Broncos Looking to Get Off to Fast Start, Challenge the Best in the NFL in the 2021

2020 was not the season the Denver Broncos had in mind when they took the field for the first time. They dropped their first game at home in late fashion to the Titans, and from there it was a downward spiral for the club.

Denver started 0-3 before they finally got wins over the Jets and an 18-12 win over New England.

The two wins were a bit of a small reprieve, as the Broncos then lost 3 of their last four games, and for the rest of the season for the most part the team just wasn’t very consistent or very good.

While there’s a number of great matchups on the Broncos slate, including divisional games vs the Raiders, Chargers and the Chiefs, team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to.

Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

10/3 vs Baltimore – We all know how physical the Ravens can be, and even hosting them it’s not going to be easy to slow down Lamar Jackson and company when they arrive in the Mile High City. Baltimore always seems to be competitive, but a win over the Ravens can go a long way in putting Denver back on the map early in 2021.

11/14 vs Philadelphia – Two young quarterbacks will go at it as (likely) it’ll be Jalen Hurts against Teddy Bridgewater or Drew Locke. Either way it should be an interesting matchup, and one move that will make it even more entertaining is if we see former Broncos QB Joe Flacco, who might get a shot to start in this game.

12/19 vs Cincinnati – By late December Joe Burrow and the Bengals should be at full strength, and it should be a solid matchup in Mile High against the AFC North’s Bengals. These could be a pair of wild card teams that are fighting things out in December to keep playing in the postseason.
