On A New Stadium, It Needs To Be Loud!

Snyder is on a world wind tour of stadiums. Please get to Solider Field for coldness and Seattle for home field advantage…Something I’d like to see with the new stadium first off is that it is in Washington DC.

Second, that it’s near a metro. Hint, hint, where RFK is at! (Mayor Bowser, the name is changed.)

A new stadium whether in DC, Maryland or Virginia will be very good for community uplift hopefully as FedEx Field and Verizon Center appear to have been.

So, even though WFT and Dan’s plan to build a new stadium should be done in Washington DC since it is Washington’s team…to hear a new stadium might be on the way this decade, how incredible!

Also, I’d like to see from a new stadium that the seating and views take into consideration the elements…somehow or in all ways.

This is football. The best clips from the NFL all-time are often in snow and cold…like Mosley’s record breaking game winnng fg  in 1982-1983 or like WFTs upset of Chicago en route to a Super Bowl in 1988 …solely one of the coldest afternoons of my childhood as a fan…we’re going to see snow and rain in a new stadium, let’s plan for it! (oh, global warming…)
I know these architects can do all sorts of things with heated seats ,covers, umbrellas…heck, they could have ‘the pig pen! Or, a hill for little kids to roll down. 

(Come on, I am a Jew but I am a WFT fan, hog through and through…)

So, let’s have some corporate-led fun.

Let’s keep it more hands-on, in a sense…the more we can get our fans base ‘hands dirty’ and feeling like ‘we’re part of the action’, the better.

Once again the louder that stadium, the better.

Maybe every and all the seat can be built to get coverage from the rain.

At RFK our families seats were always in the bleachers just undercover from rain…the bleachers! The ones that shook and moved and help make RFK super-loud and super-fun, hands-on, hands dirty, etc.

I went to the playoff loss against Seattle a couple decades ago in Seattle and that stadium is like an echo chambers…have yet to be in a louder stadium in the NFL this century.

My first suggestion to Dan would be to bring back a bleachers if a new stadium is built…one that sways and rocks and that is made of metal and contributes to making WFTs new stadium one of ‘loudness.’
