The 3 Most Exciting Matchups From the 2021 Cardinals Schedule

In 2020 the Arizona Cardinals made strides, as the team went 8-8, wrapping up a third-place finish in the NFC West.

The team made some offseason moves that should only make them better, so expect the Cards to be even more competitive in the 2021 campaign.

Now the team is looking to be more consistent, and they want to make their head coach Kliff Kingsbury proud as they take the field.

On Wednesday night, the NFL released the 2021 Cards schedule, and we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season!

After looking through the schedule and giving it some careful consideration, these are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

09/12 at Tennessee – The Titans have been on the cusp the last few seasons of being a part of the Super Bowl, losing in the AFC Title game to the Chiefs two years ago, and last year losing at home to the Ravens at home after a 10-0 lead. The Cards will be pushed to get out to an early lead in this opener, and if there’s one thing you know it’s that they need to play physical against QB Ryan Tannehill and company.

10/17 at Cleveland – Many are picking the Browns as the darlings of the NFL in 2021, ready to take home the AFC after a surprise playoff run in 2020. Again on the road it’ll be up to the Cards defense to make a statement against the likes of QB Baker Mayfield and company. Cleveland’s defense isn’t nearly as good as their offense, but if Murray and the Cardinals ‘O’ can make some plays they’ve got a shot to steal a win out East.

10/28 vs Green Bay – Can the Cards matchup with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers when they come to Arizona for a late October affair? Of course if Rodgers goes elsewhere, a ton will change, but here’s betting that the Pack are still looking at having #12 under center when the season starts. The question then becomes can Arizona’s defense stop the Pack offense?
