Dolphins Look to Make an Impact in 2021 with New Look Young Roster

In 2020 the Miami Dolphins made strides, as the team went 10-6, good for 2nd place in the AFC East, behind the AFC East champs the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen.

Miami knows what lies ahead in 2021, as the team watched the Bills win a couple postseason games and then lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Title game in Arrowhead Stadium, ending their season.

Now the team is looking to be more consistent, and they want to make their head coach Brian Flores proud as they take the field.

On Wednesday night, the NFL released the 2021 Dolphins schedule, and we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season!

After looking through the schedule and giving it some careful consideration, these are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

9/19 vs Buffalo – You want to make an early statement? Beat the best team in the division, and do it in solid fashion. That’s the way you show that the team can be a force in the AFC, beat them early and show you can hang with them. As we said it’ll come down to stopping Josh Allen and the Bills offense, and if the Fins can do that, they will have a great shot to get an early huge win.

10/17 vs Jacksonville – Ever hear of Trevor Lawrence? You will. He’s going to be the new starter at QB for the Jaguars in 2021, a team that won one game a year ago, and spent the offseason making a huge deal to former Florida and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer. They will count on Lawrence to come in and be a solid QB that can make plays from day one. It’ll be interesting to see how the Fins combat that early on.

12/27 at New Orleans – After you’ve opened your gifts and enjoyed Christmas, enjoy the Fins traveling to New Orleans for a prime time showdown with Jameis Winston and the Saints in what should be a fun affair between these AFC and NFC foes. Shut down that Saints offense and you have a great shot to pull off the upset that could go a long way to clinching a playoff spot.
