When the young Flacco walked off victorious in 2013, he was looked at as the next great quarterback. Leading his team to a championship, as it turned out Flacco did not take over the Ravens QB position for a incredibly long extended stay as its franchise quarterback.

Proving that quarterbacks who are not high talented for multiple Super Bowls, can be victorious for a season especially during a career season.

Colin Kaepernick, loser

College: Neveda. San Fransisco 49ers: 2011, Rd, 2, Pick 36

Kaepernick relieved Alex Smith of his starting duties late in the postseason and proceeded to play brilliantly in the Super Bowl for this 2012-2013 49ers team.  Yet, most of the game the 49ers were playing catch up and just could not take the game.

Coach Jim Harbaugh’s squad  the brother of Ravens coach John Harbaugh, fell short in ‘the Brothers’ Bowl.’

The game (even though in a loss) was a high point of Kaepernick career as later court rulnigs revealed that Kaepernick and other players were blackballed by the NFL for their BLM protests.

Kaepernick although never regarded as that franchise quarterback, he did help his team in the Super Bowl loss.
