It’s October, so it must be time for yet another England kit launch.

So here it is!

And, yes, it’s white (mostly).

Manufacturers Umbro have actually outdone themselves this year with another spin on the white shirt theme, and have really stepped things up with a separate “bespoke” shirt for the women’s team.

Not only does this, apparently, continue Umbro’s “commitment by to champion the women’s game”, it will clearly make the make the women’s team feel that extra bit special. Nothing at all to do being able to sell more replicas, oh no.

Whatever the motivation, it appears to have secured Umbro a contract extension until 2028, so the deal has to be paid for somehow.

Tune in next year for another exciting instalment of sticking a red rose on a white shirt…
