As if we didn’t have enough good catchers on our team already with dudes like Jose Trevino and Kyle Higashioka, the Yankees went after another one. This one however is for a minor league deal. Who cares. When it comes to stockpiling arms and backstops, I am always fine with it. When it comes to this Yankee team, many of our backup and minor league catchers are all hurt right now. Austin Wells, Ben Rortvedt and Josh Breaux. So this just makes sense.
