OTL: Baltimore Teams Donate $10M to Key Bridge Relief

The Ravens and the Orioles have come together to help in the relief efforts of the Key Bridge disaster. This is a great gesture by the local sports teams in what is one of the most difficult situations the city has ever dealt with. In the above article by Beatrice Peterson and Patricio Chile, Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti’s statement is quoted:

“We are thankful to our first responders for their bravery and tireless work. The Ravens are honored to support the Francis Scott Key Bridge recovery efforts and affected Maryland families and businesses. We are confident that Baltimore and Maryland will keep displaying tremendous spirit and strength during this time of great need.”

We have combined with the @Orioles to donate $10 million to the Baltimore Community Foundation’s Key Bridge Emergency Fund.

In a recent Pro Football Focus mock draft the Ravens are given an offensive tackle. The PFF selection is Graham Barton from Duke. It sounds like they chose Barton because he can check any of the boxes up front. Versatility is a big thing for a needy offensive line. Max Chadwick writes this:

“Graham Barton could be a good fit as someone who can play any of the five positions for Baltimore.”

Speaking of PFF, here is an interesting piece of data to think about: Adonai Mitchell is the most picked player on the PFF mock draft simulator for the Ravens. Obviously fans are always focused on wide receiver and this could offer a skewed perspective on the 30th pick.

Last week I mentioned a mock draft that went with Mitchell for the Ravens. It’s an interesting idea that keeps popping up. It seems to go either OL, CB, or Mitchell at WR in the collection of mock drafts floating around.

We still have a few weeks left of mock speculation – fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your perspective.
