Ravens schedule 2024

Schedule Features Seven Nationally-Broadcast Games, Including Five at Night in Primetime

Baltimore Slated for Six Non-Sunday Contests, Including Second-Straight Road Christmas Game

Ravens to Play an NFL-High 10 Matchups vs. 2023 Playoff Teams

The Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to play seven nationally-broadcast games – including five primetime night contests – beginning with the NFL season-opening kickoff at Kansas City in Week 1. Baltimore is also slated for six non-Sunday contests, including a second-straight Christmas Day matchup when it visits Houston on Wednesday in Week 17. Additionally, the Ravens’ 10 games facing 2023 playoff teams mark the NFL’s most this season.

Below are notable elements of the Ravens’ 2024 schedule:

  • The Ravens play nine games on the road and eight games at M&T Bank Stadium. Outside of Baltimore’s home and away matchups against AFC North foes (Bengals, Browns & Steelers), its opponents include the entire NFC East (Commanders, Cowboys, Eagles & Giants) and AFC West (Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs & Raiders), as well as the reigning AFC South (Texans), NFC South (Buccaneers) and AFC East (Bills) champions.
  • Based on 2023 regular season records, Baltimore’s 2024 strength of schedule projects as the NFL’s second toughest, with its opponents combining for a .536 (155-134) winning percentage. The Ravens will compete in an NFL-high 10 contests against 2023 playoff teams (Browns twice, Steelers twice, Bills, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Eagles & Texans).
  • Baltimore’s 12 games facing teams that finished .500 or better last season (Bengals twice, Browns twice, Steelers twice, Bills, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Eagles & Texans) tie (Cleveland) for the league’s most in 2024.
  • The Ravens schedule includes five primetime night games (Thursday at Kansas City, Sunday vs. Buffalo, Monday at Tampa Bay, Thursday vs. Cincinnati & Monday at Los Angeles Chargers), tying (2011 & 2021) for the most in franchise history. Additionally, their six non-Sunday slated contests (Thursday at Kansas City, Monday at Tampa Bay, Thursday vs. Cincinnati, Monday at Los Angeles Chargers, Saturday vs. Pittsburgh & Wednesday at Houston) are two more than the franchise has ever experienced in a single season (four in 2020 & 2022).
  • The Ravens compete in the NFL’s Kickoff Game at Kansas City, marking the second time (also 9/5/13 at Den.) they’ll participate in this season-opening standalone contest. In beginning the season at Kansas City, Baltimore faces a reigning Super Bowl champion in Week 1 for the first time in franchise history. The matchup – featuring QB Lamar Jackson (2019 & 2023) and QB Patrick Mahomes (2018 & 2022) – marks the first time in NFL history that multiple-time league MVPs will square off in Week 1.
  • For their home opener, the Ravens face another AFC West opponent in Week 2 when the Raiders visit M&T Bank Stadium. It marks the fourth time (also 2009, 2015 & 2021) in franchise history that Baltimore starts its season with consecutive AFC West opponents in Weeks 1-2.
  • Baltimore begins with seven consecutive home-away contests before a multi-game road trip or homestand. The Ravens’ first multi-game road trip occurs Weeks 7-8 (at Tampa Bay & at Cleveland), which is followed by their only multi-game homestand in Weeks 9-10 (vs. Denver & vs. Cincinnati) and another two-game road stretch in Weeks 11-12 (at Pittsburgh & at Los Angeles Chargers). Baltimore then rotates home-away to close out the regular season.
  • Three of the Ravens’ four October matchups take place on the road (at Cincinnati, at Tampa Bay & at Cleveland). That Week 8 contest at Cleveland begins a stretch of three divisional foes (also vs. Cincinnati & at Pittsburgh) over a four-game span (through Week 11).
  • Baltimore plays its 21st (at Tampa Bay) and 22nd (at Los Angeles Chargers) Monday Night Football games during the John Harbaugh Era (since 2008). Of these 22 contests, 18 have been scheduled on the road – including both this season – with just four at home.
  • For the second-straight year, Baltimore and Cincinnati square off at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday Night Football. It marks the second time in Ravens history that they’ll host the same team on a Thursday night in consecutive seasons (also Pittsburgh, 2013-14).
  • For the second-consecutive season, Baltimore travels to Los Angeles for a primetime game against the Chargers. This marks the second-ever regular season matchup between teams coached by brothers Jim & John Harbaugh (11/24/11, Bal. vs. SF), who also faced each other in Super Bowl XLVII (2/3/13).
  • Baltimore’s Week 14 bye ties (2000) for the latest in franchise history. Including 2024, 12 of Baltimore’s last 13 Bye Weeks have fallen in Week 8 or later, with the lone exception being a Week 7 bye in 2020.
  • For the fourth time in franchise history, Baltimore’s schedule includes a Christmas Day game (at Houston), spending its second-consecutive year away for the holiday. It marks the first time in NFL history that a team has played away on consecutive Christmases. The matchup is one of two slated for the holiday this year, as the NFL will play its second and third, respectively, originally-scheduled Wednesday contests ever (first was the Cowboys-Giants NFL Kickoff, 9/5/12).
