The Chicago Bulls have one of the more impactful offseasons they are getting into right now. With a pair of lottery picks, they can really change the projection of the franchise with some strong additions. It will be intriguing to see how the front office attacks the NBA Draft. Let’s take a deeper dive into one mock draft and see who they believe the Bulls will add.
The Chicago Bulls land the seemingly consensus fourth pick
CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish curated a 2026 NBA mock draft for the first round. Chicago fans would be excited if the board fell this way. With the fourth pick, Parrish has the Bulls taking North Carolina Tar Heels forward Caleb Wilson.
“Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer and Wilson have been described by some as the clear top-four in this draft with most ranking Wilson fourth among the group. In truth, his ceiling is maybe higher than at least one of the three players expected to go before him – but his floor is probably the lowest of the group because, right now, Wilson is a non-shooter headed to a league that values it. That’s not ideal for a top-five pick. But the athleticism is off the charts, his motor runs great and competitiveness doesn’t appear to be an issue. So, barring a surprise, Wilson won’t go lower than fourth.”
This would not be a surprise as Wilson seems like the consensus fourth pick Wilson looked like a star in the making while playing at North Carolina his freshman season. He finished with 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.5 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. Wilson shot the basketball well, connecting on 57.8% frmo the floor. However, his 25.9% from beyond the arc leaves room to be improved upon. He has the ability to continue being a star in the NBA as a centerpiece for Chicago and the 6-foot-10 forward can be a difference-maker right away.
The Chicago Bulls also select a guard to close out the lottery
The Bulls have been looking to add some more talent and hold the 15th pick via the Portland Trail Blazers. After adding a wing, this mock draft has Chicago taking Baylor Bears guard Cameron Carr. Below is the snippet CBS Sports has for Carr:
“Carr emerged as a real top-20 option after transferring from Tennessee to Baylor and having one of the biggest breakout years in the sport while averaging 14.1 more points per game than he averaged previously with the Vols. The 21-year-old has long arms and a solid-enough jump shot. In this mock, he lands beside Wilson in Chicago as a major part of the Bulls’ rebuild.”
Carr finished last season averaging 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 steals in 33.7 minutes per game. He had a great shooting stroke, recording a 49.4/37.4/80.1 shooting split in 34 games. Having a 6-foot-5 guard who is not afraid to crash the glass is a great building block to pair alongside Josh Giddey.
