Resurfaced video of Sophie Cunningham trolling DeWanna Bonner goes viral
It now feels like ages ago when Sophie Cunningham and DeWanna Bonner were teammates with the Indiana Fever last season. That was actually their second stint as teammates after they first crossed paths when Cunningham was a rookie. The pair both suited up for the Phoenix Mercury in 2019 before Bonner moved on after that season.
There appears to be some bad blood between the two, though. After Bonner forced her move away from the Fever last season, Cunningham said that the veteran never gave them an explanation.
Earlier this season, the two were involved in a heated in-game altercation. Bonner was incensed when Cunningham pointed at her. The Fever star refused to back down, and both players had to be separated. Incidentally, Cunningham’s pointing gesture blew up online and eventually became her latest meme.

Old Sophie Cunningham-DeWanna Bonner video resurfaces
A clip of Bonner and Cunningham from last season is currently making the rounds on social media. In it, a glammed-up Bonner is first seen posing for the cameras during her pregame tunnel walk. Cunningham, who had a more casual ensemble, followed her now-ex-teammate. She copied Bonner’s pose after saying, “How am I supposed to follow that today?”
