Angel Reese had four words after heated Dream game
Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese sent a strong message on social media after their blowout win over the Connecticut Sun.
The Dream ended their four-game road trip on Thursday against Connecticut with a 104-69 wire-to-wire victory in front of the home crowd at Mohegan Sun Arena.
But it was a heated game, with several moments involving Reese. One of those intense sequences occurred in the second quarter when Reese received a hard foul from Aaliyah Edwards.
Reese got doubled-teamed down low by Edwards and Leila Lacan when she received the pass. The Dream star got clipped on the neck by Edwards’ hands as she was going down.
This prompted the three-time WNBA All-Star to shout at Edwards right after the play, which added tension and emotion between the two teams.
The refs reviewed the play, and the call was upgraded to a Flagrant 1 foul for Edwards. Reese finished the game with eight points, 15 rebounds, three steals and four blocks in 28 minutes of action.

Angel Reese reacts to gritty win over Connecticut Sun
Following the win, Reese took to social media to share her hyped reaction to the result. She had just four words.
“DUBS IN MF CHATTT,” Reese wrote on her official X account.

Reese also had her moment against the Sun’s star center Brittney Griner. Reese blocked Griner twice and had a steal against her in just one sequence during the game.
Next up for Reese and Co. is a trip back home this Sunday to face the Indiana Fever on their home floor at State Farm Arena.
It’s going to be a crucial matchup between the two teams, who are vying for a favorable position in the standings as the postseason inches closer.
