Aakash 2 tablet -$40

Aakash 2 is an Android-based tablet produced by DataWind. It was development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to replace the original Aakash tablet. An updated version was launched on November 11, 2012.

Aakash 2 features Android 2.3 operating system whereas Aakash 2 Tablet had Android 2.2 version.Aakash 2 Tablet specifications include inbuilt RAM of 256MB and inbuilt memory of 2G. Also internal memory is expandable up to 32GB by using microSD card. Making user experience better, Aakash 2 specifications are 7 inch touch screen and also 800×480 pixel resolution.

Micromax Funbook Talk tablet -$120

Fifth tablet in the Funbook series, the Funbook Talk comes pre loaded with Android 4.0 and sports a 7-inch capacitive TFT LCD display with 800×480 pixel resolution. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM.

As the name suggests, the tablet doubles up as a phone, thanks to built-in voice calling and 2G connectivity support. This is the first tablet from the company to do so, with earlier Funbook tablets supporting 3G via USB dongles. It also has a mini HDMI port.

The tablet features a VGA front camera and comes with a 2800mAh battery claiming up to 5 hours of talk time. There’s 4GB of internal storage with expansion options unto 32GB via microSD card support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and 3G dongle support via USB 2.0.

It has 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 powerful processor with 1024×600 pixels resolution display that supported to play movie of 1080p for full angle view to make experience like theater. Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite comes with Android iteration 4.0 with primary camera of 3.2 Mega Pixels and secondary camera of 0.3 Mega Pixels.

HP TouchPad-$400

The HP TouchPad was announced on February 9, 2011. Early reviews of the HP TouchPad were mixed. David Pogue of The New York Times wrote, “It works beautifully, and conveys far more information than the iPad 2. The tablet offers “real multitasking” with all open apps always running.”Jason Chen of Gizmodo wrote, “After actually holding the TouchPad, I can say it’s deceptively heavy. It’s around the same weight as the iPad, but you’d think it would be lighter because the back was made of plastic. That said, it’s not overly heavy, just heavier than you’d think by looking.”
