UFO Light From Last Year Seen Again

Not sure what to make of this…

At 8:34 we were outside at our fire pit enjoying a fire when I thought I saw a funny colored light above the hilly tree-line to our southeast. Sure enough! A light identical to one we saw last year on and off for 45 minutes was dancing in the sky again! The colors were dark red, cobalt blue, purple, and pinkish white. It ducked behind the trees then rose– doing maneuvers over and over again. We had clear skies with a very slight breeze, and it was pretty quiet (little traffic or outdoor human activity) for a nice Saturday night, especially before a holiday.

I called out to Gerick and my neighbors with us at the fire at the time, Natasha and Kalden, to look!! And it had gone behind the trees again. Sadly, they had left when a few minutes later it rose very obviously in the sky and continued doing its thing. However, Gerick watched it with me at that time.

Once more I thought the same thing I did last time– it could only be a helicopter type of gadget OR a genuinely mysterious object. Its weird to see it in the same place roughly as last time, but if the neighbors had a fun toy to play with– why would they only play with it once a year? That seems odd. I went to the end of the property to get closer, thinking that if its a toy, it would be small, and maybe I’d have to get closer to hear a motor. I was only able to tell that the object couldn’t be very large. Car-sized at the greatest maybe. No sounds though. And this time the dogs and coyotes did NOT freak out obviously as they did last time (on the other hand, most dogs were in last night for some reason.)

So I’m still perplexed. I can’t rule anything out OR in! Frustrating.
