Strange Noise & Whooshing/Vibrating Sensations

Gerick and I may have been abducted last night.

I’m not certain, but there were clues that leave me suspicious. For one thing, a half hour after I went to bed last night (at 1 am) I heard a very strange, and very loud, sort of hollow, sliding metallic sound followed by a thump. Right outside and very close. It sounded like it was on the deck right below our bedroom window! We had a fan on and I could hear it very clearly even above the sound of the fan, so it must have been VERY loud indeed.

I got out of bed and looked out, absolutely alarmed, because the sound was so obviously artificial. We leave the porch light on most nights, and so I could see the deck and surrounding area clearly from my bedroom window and I saw nothing. I also heard nothing more. I kept watching and waiting for a couple of minutes and all seemed normal.

But THEN I did something I don’t normally do and laid right back down to sleep. When I should have (and normally would have) risen and gone downstairs to investigate. I had the thought come to me that it was the neighbors closing a window (you CANNOT hear them close a window or door with the fan on– even if they slam it closed!) Ridiculous, but I ’bought’ the story in my head.

It wasn’t long before I was asleep.

Shortly after this I awoke because my entire body was filled with energy that was just WHOOSHING and RUSHING through me, vibrating in a very distinct pattern that both revolved around my body in clockwise circles AND went up and down as well.

I’ve felt that before numerous times right before a “beam me up Scotty” type of abduction event (where apparently they just dematerialize us right out of our beds and return us the same way, poofing out our blankets before setting us back.) I felt adrenaline pump through me and I woke up and rolled over, and felt this squeezing around my head, pressuring me to fall asleep. At the same time, Gerick groaned loudly and rolled over and grabbed me in utter distress while half asleep.

“We’re being taken!” I thought very clearly.

I squeezed Gerick’s hand and then hugged him along his body, trying to shake off the sensation of violent movement inside of stillness. It feels very good, physically– like an amazing massage or something– but knowing what it means tends to make me react less positively to the experience. Gerick then cried out again and I rolled over in the other direction and tried to pick up my head and literally shake it to pull myself out of whatever was happening to my mind…

… and went under in less than a minute.

This morning we got up late, really late. Gerick had work and he got out of bed sluggishly, I got out on the other side and couldn’t believe the time. After 10! Gerick gets up between 5 and 7 every morning on his own, no matter what. He got the phone to call in to work and I saw his face– he had huge dark bags under both eyes like he hadn’t slept a wink! I went to the bathroom, feeling very tired myself, and saw I had the same bags under my eyes. We looked and felt AWFUL. No bruises or marks, we just both felt like we’d been up partying all night or something…

Gerick gave up and called off work for the day and we both went back to bed until almost 3 in the afternoon! Which is incredibly ridiculous! Who needs to sleep that much? By 5 pm today I finally starting feeling normal and capable of functioning.

Today, just to double check the idea that the neighbors may have made the noise, I asked Natasha if Kalden came home early from work or if there was any weird noise on their side of the house. She said no. Kalden was home at dawn as his current shift dictates and she herself was sound asleep.

Neither of us has any memory of anything. Nothing. Nada. So perhaps it was just a weird night. But I am making note of it NOW because usually IF there are abductions going on, they come in waves, and we’ll have several weeks of much higher activity. I need to step up my game and be more aware.
