Can You Hold It (6 Minutes)?

It’s pretty safe to say that we all have aspects of our jobs that we don’t like. Whether it’s a dress code, benefits policy or even compensation, there’s something that we could change if we would. But chances are, you probably don’t have it as bad as workers at the WaterSaver Faucet Co in Chicago, IL. That is at least when it comes to breaks – specifically restroom breaks. In the time it would take you to walk outside to your car and back in the building is equal to your daily allotted time for restroom breaks. Yep, each employee only gets 30 minutes of restroom time per week, which boils down to an average of only 6 minutes per day. WTH?!

If you just felt the urge to punch someone in the face, don’t worry – you’re not alone. I felt the same way after hearing about this crazy story. But don’t lose your temper just yet – it gets worse.
