AGA Game: Lease Agreement & Elven Knight Procured

Characters: ELSA (witch) and AGNES (General every-woman)

*Note: Agnes begins to realize how different her new doll-child is: Little Beatrice is fascinated by everyday objects and takes great delight in many things. She’s also feisty and tussles playfully with the Rumbafass the rabbit-man fae and the vampire giant black rabbit who guard the “Bunny Burrow” (a.k.a. the old mines). She’s a delight though, and doesn’t have temper tantrums or anything. She just loves LIFE!

Fearful of being evicted or losing their new home, Elsa & Agnes met with the Butler who set up a meeting on “neutral” ground outside Highdark Halls garden walls by a little stream. They weren’t sure what to expect, and were surprised when Lord Julian himself and his sister Tessara showed up. Julian asked if Elsa could possibly help his sister with a demonic oppression that sometimes became a possession. In exchange, he would grant her the old mines rent free, and allow her to use it as she pleased.

Elsa easily said yes to this arrangement. The papers were brought by the estate attorney the next day to be signed. Elsa can read and was able to tell that the papers indeed granted what Julian promised. She signed the papers, and sighed in relief that the faerie hunter, Julian’s older sister, Olivia, would not be coming around to hunt down the fae rabbits that helped guard her home.

The moment she signed the papers, Abagail was returned to the Druid’s Circle of stone, as if in response to the friendly gesture by Julian!!

Olina the gypsy wife of the pub owner, was hit one time too many and asked for asylum with Agnes and Elsa at their tunneled home. Her stepchildren, the red-haired MacTeines kids, all came with her, also tired of being bullied and beaten by their father. Elsa agreed to this, now that she knew she wouldn’t be subjecting the others to violent faerie hunters.

However, it took too long to get the wheelbarrows full of their things to the Burrow. The coachman from Highdark Hall was helping and he was the last to reach Bunny’s Burrow and the winds kicked up and the clouds gathered and the fae energy grew and everyone ran for it, except for him and Elsa and Agnes. An Elven Knight emerged and said that a pact had been broken. Humans weren’t allowed out after dusk, and dusk had arrived.

Elsa pleaded for mercy after making a heartfelt apology, and the knight calmed a little but still insisted a price needed to be paid… and it would be that Agnes would have to submit to his romantic gestures. He was going to court her! She had to have this explained to her, and she was stunned the handsome elf would ask for such a thing, but she agreed– intrigued by the notion.

So the deaf, scarred, laundress was now a mama of a living doll-girl who cavorted at her feet all the time and was now the object of fae adoration… whatever form THAT might be!
