Not Feeling Independence Day This Year

After all the Supreme Court rulings that have come down at the end of their session this year, on top of all the other bullshit in the last few years, I could give a flying fuck about our precious nation…

The reasons Clarence Thomas gave for undoing Roe v. Wade call into question several other granted freedoms to various people that I believe will be taken away again. It’s a rich white male Xtian war against everyone who is not rich, white, male, or Xtian (and I spell it that way to distinguish the Sharia-law types from the real Christians who actually believe in Christ’s message of love and acceptance). Fascism is still heading our way, and my heart hurts to watch my future dreams play out like this.

On top of that, fatigue is kicking my ass like crazy, and I’m not able to shake it yet. Fireworks all around me and I can’t even stay up long enough to feel even slightly excited. And I LOVE fireworks!
