Heron House Gutters Fixed

SO many things got left behind during the pandemic, and now we’re playing catch-up to everything that needed done over that time.

Like Heron House’s gutters! Cat paid top dollar (which she can luckily afford) to get all the broken gutters replaced, added gutter that were needed and not there, cleaned all the gutters out, and had the Leaf Filters added with surgical steel mesh that keep out even tiny fir needles. We shouldn’t ever need to clean the gutters again, and it’s a 50 year guarantee. We’ve been having issues with those gutters since we moved in, and it’s all finally fixed!

We chose hunter green for the gutters, because they match the ones we have and because we decided that would be our primary trim color. The secondary trim color will be bright purple, and the main color we have now– a blah beige– will be painted over with lavender. That’s in our future, but the point is, we’ve decided on the colors and so Cat could make a decision on the gutter colors.

This house has over 350 feet of gutters! It needs it, since it’s roof on roof on roof– but jeez!

It’s also a part of the plan to get as many things done as we can before 2024, just in case things go off the rails again like they did in 2016. It feels good to know that a home improvement is finished!
