I Get To Read Early Copy of Mike's Next Book!

One thing that helped distract me recently while I was reeling from the revelations of my hypnosis session was Mike finishing his next book! My roomie has been really nose-to-the-grindstone working on this project non-stop over the last 9 months or more (13 years total from the time he had the idea for the story to begin with, he says) and for it to be nearly done is super exciting!

Mike Clelland [real name] has authored numerous non-fiction books on ultra-light backpacking and, most famously, on aliens, owls, and UFOs. His last book is fictional, however, though greatly inspired from aspects of both his own life and that of many other alien abductees like himself.

It took me two days to read his book for flow and the story itself, and I was nervous, as I’m sure he was, because the last thing I want to do to a friend is report that their story just isn’t up to snuff. But I’m also well-known for being super honest, and if it wasn’t good, I’d feel forced to say so…

That fear is assuaged, however, because I couldn’t put it down for the two days I was reviewing it!

It’s a really good story!

The story begins with some weirdness and a man fleeing into a desert to trek around in perilous circumstances– and then things really get going! I was hooked from the beginning and by the end wanted more! The way he wrote it would make it easy to turn into a screenplay for a mini-series or something. It’s very mysterious, and adventurous.

Mike is now going through the final edits, and I found a few minor typos myself, but once he’s finished all that, he’ll be off to the presses! I’m really looking forward to this venture being successful for Mike. He really deserves it and the story he produced is unquestionably excellent! I wish him all the best and can only add my review to generate a little buzz. But THIS picky reader, writer, and editor is expecting good things.
