Bug Out Tools-The Power8 Workshop

Came across this a few weeks back. It is called the Power8 Workshop Since I love unique tools and gadgets I was rather intrigued by this product. It contains 3 cordless power tools plus flashlight. What sets it apart from other cordless tools is the case that they come into turns into a workshop. The circular saw turns into a table saw, the drill a drill press and the jig saw a table mounted saber saw. Then everything packs away into the compact case. As far as keeping something like this with your bug out tools, it’s compact size and versatility makes it worth considering. Looking at it, I am not sure how well it is constructed and it is probably not up to heavy duty use. But it could come in very handy if you are trying to build a bug out shelter, making repairs or improvising survival gear. Cordless power tools have come a long way in the past few years and having a versatile group of tools are a must have for long term survival and self sufficiency. A generator or solar power could be used to recharge the batteries in an off grid situation.
In the tv show “The Colony” the few tools they had they were able to make and create most everything they needed. Having something like the Power8 Workshop will help you rebuild after the collapse.
