What do you think of this idea from Homestead Survival: “Every time you accomplish homesteading or prepping goal write it down on a scrap of paper then at the end of the year…. Read it with pride how much you have done.”

Comment #1: I do something similar to this. Every time our family does something happy or memorable I write it down, put it in my mason jar on my desk and then on New Year’s we will sit down and read them.

Comment #2: i do the opposite. i write down what i need to do and pull one out when i got time. then i get ur done.

Comment #3: I write them down on a spiral bound memo pad that fits in your shirt pocket. You can keep track of alot of things besides your progress. Like making corrections or additions to your projects as well as material lists, rough sketches, phone numbers and addresses/websites to resources and materials. (Catalogs/Outlet Stores, Dealerships, Parts/Labor/Repair Facilities for the things you can’t make or fix yourself.) Having a non-electronic back up in case of a power failure isn’t a bad idea.
