I saw this on a road the other day. Miles and miles of spiders just hanging on their webs built between the upper lines and the lower lines. I had never seen this before and was sort of perplexed how they all got up on the telephone lines (which were quite a distance from the trees). The idea that they all climbed up on the poles from the ground and then onto the wires and just happened to spread out for miles seemed implausible, but lacking a better explanation, I guess that is what happened unless they somehow have the ability to blow up there by some other means.
