- makes me wonder if they have had previous contact with people & maybe fed by people.
- Beautiful animals! But training them not to be afraid of humans is probably no good for anyone. But how hard would it be not to reach out and pet that fur.
- He’s thinking “I bet he tastes like Caribou.”
- One theory about where dogs came from is the wolves that were brave and tame enough to wander into our ancestors campfire and hope for a free meal.
- Wolves aren’t always aggressive. They’re curious just like we are. These look like juveniles that may be hungry enough to venture where they normally wouldn’t.
- This wasn’t a ny “spiritual nature” event. The wolves were looking for food-PERIOD! Had they gathered in sufficient numbers one of those workers would have been taken down. Please don’t “Disney-fy” thes beautiful animals. Recognise the danger and stay clear of them.
- Are these juveniles, maybe? It seems like atypical behavior for arctic wolves. I thought they were very territorial and aggressive?
- Isn’t this how “The Thing” starts?
- Habitualized already for handouts. Need to be relocated.
- Wolves will tear you up. Obviously these have had human contact but I still wouldn’t trust them.
- They are used to being fed by humans, and they acted like they knew the guy that walked past them. Body language was alert but also comfortable.
- Poor babies they were just hungry and obviously been given food by other humans. Otherwise I don’t think they would have approached them. I read somewhere once that all dogs are derived from wolves. So no big surprise they can be tamed.
- I don’t think those are wild
- Yes they probable are getting hungry and work in packs.mostly relay chases.
- they are looking for a hand out and must of gotten some in the past
- How awesome and beautiful..
- They are obviously habituated to humans. They also look well-fed, so my guess is someone (the one referred to as “Trashman”), has probably been feeding them. This is never a good idea, as it could eventually lead to the death of these gorgeous animals.
- They’re hungry
- Very cool
- as beautiful as this is, this isnt a good thing. they will get shot one day and one of them will lose a mate…. sad really….
- Totally cool but I would’ve been scared lol I would’ve feed them
