Yes that is RIGHT. Starting today January 1, 2016, you will no longer be able to fly domestically anywhere in the US using your own State Issued ID anymore!! According to DHS website the “REAL ID ACT” forbids Americans with State issued ID’s to travel by airplane anywhere in the United States unless you obtain an offical Federal Government Nazi Style Nationalist Passport because current State issued IDs do not meet any Federal Government Standards! Looks like your stuck taking the bus or driving and soon they will focus on that soon here shortly!
