Survival Fishing In A SHTF Scenario

I thought this was a pretty good idea…

To take one skill you’re trying to work on, and do a ‘Survival Scenario’ trip where you work on just that one skill.

So that’s what this guy from Sigma III Survival does in this video.

My brother recently shot a DVD with this guy, so he knows his stuff.

But that DVD didn’t cover anything in regards to fishing, so I thought I’d share it with you here instead, as he not only has some pretty light weight items you should consider adding to your bug out bag or EDC kit that can bring in some serious food…

But I also thought you might find his daily routine worth taking note of as well, as he gets caught in a rainstorm, has to wade out in deep water to get the fish, and has some very real challenges with keeping things dry that folks who’ve never done this before might not have thought about.
