“Flee to the Mountains” but “Why the Mountains”

First

Because they are The High Ground! There is an Old military adage:“He who controls the high ground controls the battle.” The higher you are the further and sooner you can see your enemy. Which gives you the advantage especially if your enemy does know where you are. However, if your enemy does know where your are. Because of your knowledge of your enemy’s eminent arrival it gives you time to move some where else. Weapons should only be used as a delaying tactic, you are not there to win a war. That job belongs to Jesus not you!You are in the mountains, because, no one else wants to be there. In a later blog I will give you how to hide from the eyes in the Sky. Remember this: compared to the mountains you are very small! That mountain where you will be is full of trees, rocks, brush, cracks and crevasses to hide.

David had king Saul and Israel’s army looking for him for years and Saul’s army was full of savvy men and they never trapped David. Why, because, he stayed in the mountains! Most of all he was obedient in being where God told him to be, the mountains. And obedience is better than sacrifice

Secondly

Because, most of your human enemies will be lazy! Going through mountains Off the Beaten Trail is hard work . And where you will want to go there better not be any 4 wheel drive trails. You want to be in a spot where NO one ever goes. If there is a trail, people will follow that Trail. Use only trails that are well traveled by wild animals. Their constant movement and rain fall will mask you presents.

Thirdly

Mountains are usually a healthy animal habitat. Therefore, there will be food and water. That is food and water that you will have to pack to in. Bring you storage food of course, but live off the land as much as you can. Don’t plan on bartering your gold for what you need. A brick of 22 shells will be more valuable that Gold Eagle you are so proud of.

Fourthly

You will be far from the decline of mankind. No TV, internet, cellphones, gangs of thugs, or people that say they are looking out for your kids.
