Battle Mind Co-Ed Team Training
A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League

AUSTIN, Texas -( A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) is offering a unique co-ed training event for couples.

The all-inclusive event is scheduled for July 20-23, 2017, at the American Police Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida.

Battle Mind: Special Ops for the Real World gives you the mindset and skills to react to threats you may encounter in your life.

This Co-Ed event focuses on several aspects of a relationship, like communication, trust, and even touch to demonstrate how they can be used to thwart an aggressor’s initial plans, so that you can devise and enact a plan of survival in a moment’s notice.

“This is a wonderful way for couples to train to work as a team in a crisis situation,” says Julianna Crowder, AG & AG Founder. “EJ will give them advanced training to be successful when protecting their families.” Instructor EJ Owens is a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran serving as a commissioned officer (Infantry) selected for Executive Protection of government officials, as well as a U.S. Army Hand-to-Hand Combatives Instructor, who served in Afghanistan as a U.S. Department of Defense contractor assigned to the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force.

Participants will learn nonverbal gestures and signals to communicate with a partner in an emergency; how to set up your response plan for home or in public; determine who has to take the lead and how to support each other; and techniques so that you can respond together in a crisis situation.

Registration is open on their website.
