Arachnigrip has had many inquiries about the availability of its Slide Spider slide grip for the Smith & Wesson Sigma models. In response to the demand, they have just released the Slide Spider for this popular pistol model available for purchase at www.arachnigrip.com.

The Sigma models were introduced in 1994, as Smith & Wesson’s alternative to the Glock 17. It was Smith & Wesson’s first polymer frame pistol and had a stainless steel slide. Released in both 9MM and .40 S&W, it was one of the first pistols produced to handle the .40 S&W cartridge. The original design also had the same grip angle as the Colt 1911, allowing a familiar and comfortable fit for many shooters. The 1994 models only offered 10 round capacity due to government regulations at the time; however, later models were released with a 16-round magazine. The Sigma design was updated and built upon in 2011 and was re-introduced as the SD series.
