Week After Action Report of what you might have missed last week.

Here are a couple things you may have missed last week.

Amid Seattle Crisis: CHAZ

This is crazy! I was calling Covid crazy, but this is something different.

At first I heard rumors of armed guards and military style checkpoints to get in, but that seemed to have been fake news.

Now the media is playing it off as a large street fair.

The mayor of Seattle and the President want to have tweet wars about.

But sooner or later this is going to play out. The question is how?

Could it be an apocalyptic future where the government completely fences it off and it becomes some kind of weird exile place protected by armed guards on both sides?

More then likely it will just die out and life will go back to “normal” and everyone will claim victory for it.

But we could see law enforcement or even the military go through and clear everyone out. Only time will tell.

Saving Yourself in a Crowd

This article was written almost a decade ago, but still relevant today.

It is more about crowd dynamics and noticing them then the actual tactics.

If you can be aware of what will happen before it happens you can be more prepared than anyone else. Read the article and learn how a crowd thinks and acts. A crowd is its own entity and people inside do things they would probably never do on their own.

The Weapon Snatcher on Gunfighter Cast

Here the interview with Shooter Rughi. He is the guy in Seattle that took back 2 rifles stolen from law enforcement vehicles back from rioters.

He won two different gun fights without firing a shot.

Spoiler alert: I think it was more heroic and dangerous to himself after he got the rifles. What he did with the rifles is crazy… but it worked!

What I’m Reading

Written well from a foreign spec ops guy that has been there and done that.

He has a lot of the same thoughts I do about self defense and put it into a book well.

Most of the book is about staying away from danger and how to avoid it.

When it comes to professional security if you have to fight you have screwed up your job badly. If you are with your family, I’d say the same thing. If you have to physically fight to protect you family, you did something really wrong. Stop the attack before it happens and your family is in danger.
