ideas, epiphanies.    As a long term prepper, I still realize that there are holes in my preps.   Like today I walked by one of my driveway motion sensors and realized that the lid I put over it to prevent it from detecting tree leaf motion has blocked the PV panel and it was now completely dead on internal battery.  

The one by the roadway, over 350′ away works very well and detects every vehicle.   It will also detect deer.   So when it goes off at 11 PM I look for any lights, and if nothing, assume a deer.    

But in spirit of prepping, for now at least, I charged up my massive diving light which will cast a beam that far.    I have electric and network run down to there, i want to rig up a network activated switching mechanism to turn on lights that are still to be installed.   But that is one of those projects that might be 4 hours or 12 hours….so it waits.

And the purpose of the second remote sensor, which beeps with a different sound, would alert me that the “deer” was coming right up to the house.    So this would be the time too grab weaponry.   I made that sensor work again today. 

So here is the message: Do something every day that will improve your personal security.   

When the COVID unemployment runs, the new Zombie Cov-idiots will turn to theft.   And consider all the delivery people who have seen your property, many of them are also riotors, and they have cased your property.    You really want stuff looking organized, secured.    If not, you are going to be their target.    Get your shit squared away!

Its not just that you might lose some property, it might result in an altercation.  Maybe even a shooting.

Yesterday I bought 2000 rounds of 9MM online, it was my prep of the day.   Biden reminded me, LOL.
