I never used to question it when my mother spoke about what something used to cost when she was young. I’ve since been educating myself late in life about it all. And yes, I am pissed off. We’ve all been played for fools, and didn’t know it.
UPDATE: Here in South Central PA, at the hospital where I and my friend work…I have been off for several months with a work injury, but in her department, out of the 40 or so employees, as of last night, at least 12 were COVID positive. The “bad words” were testing at home, finding out they were positive, and coming to work, anyway, because they didn’t want to use up any of their personal/vacation time. And yeah, they didn’t mask up, or anything. Oh, and it’s the food and nutrition department, so they were serving up food to patients, other healthcare workers, and visitors. Pray for our community!
