Florida would have a real big problem if squatters rights were in force. There are people from all over USA who have the money to own houses and are tourists 2-6 months of the year spending all their money, for Florida to function financially. Money talks. The real estate market, the businesses would suffer from lack of customers., the crime rate would zoom up. The airlines, the car rentals, bars, restaurants everybody who relies upon tourist trade. Allowing squatters would devastate Florida. Governor DeSantis, pass a bill against squatters because Snow Birds or not going to allow squatters on their property while they are at home in another state. You will have hell to pay if squatters are allowed.
