Jared Loughner, Alleged Shooter in Gabrielle Giffords Attack, Described by Classmate as “Left-Wing Pothead”
At a time when the nation grieves for the dead lost in the Arizona attack against Gabrielle Giffords and the murderous rampage that took the lives of six and wounded 12, it was only a matter of time before the left wing began to blame the conservatives and the Tea Party movement for the killings.
As a tea party member, I am shocked by the violence and pray for the victims of one man’s rage. The moment I heard this story, I began to wonder how long it would take before liberals like Keith Oberman and the Huffington Post would determine that criticism of the left by conservative politicians and Tea Party members were to blame, rather than the hate filled rhetoric of the left. Bush derangement syndrome got it’s name because of the murderous rhetoric against Bush and his eight years of his administration and endless violent imagery from left wing commentators.

Tea Party conservatives must always be cautious when it comes to political speech because the left wing media will seeks ways turn their murderous acts into an accusation against us. Conservatives must take the high moral ground when discussing our politics and guard what we say, so we do not discredit our movement. I for one, have a zero tolerance for anyone on the right that threatens violence to gain political power.
