Pharoe Obama Exalted in Hypocrisy

The Obama administration continues to deny that the Muslim Brotherhood (MBH) is behind the recent events in Egypt.  If that is the case, then let’s take the MBH out of the equation of the Egyptian protests for this discussion.  Embracing this condition, we can compare the unrest of these suppressed people as a grassroots, middle-eastern, Tea Party.  Afterall, don’t these protesters seek the same ideals of our own Tea Parties – freedom from government corruption, liberty to pursue one’s dreams, the ability to participate in a true democracy, the right to peaceful assembly?  It seems there is an undeniable similarity between the Egypt uprising and our own Tea Party.  

Obama and his administration have expressed unwavering support for the protesters in Egypt.  Statements have been made that these protests represent a path to democracy under an authoritarian government.  Obama has repeatedly expressed his support for freedom, democracy and universal rights and recently said, ”This isn’t about support or opposition of leaders, it is about support for rights of assembly and expression.”  Obama further criticized actions that restrict these values, including Mubarak’s turning off the internet.  Of course Obama (himself) just obtain the power to turn off the internet in the US, aka “the internet kill switch.” 

After examination of Obama and his administration’s recent statements in support of the Egyptian protesters, I asked myself, “Did our President support the American people and the Tea Party?”  The answer is “No”.  With this in mind, it seems as if President Obama and his administration are chronically hypocritical, rejecting the Tea Party at home, but embracing its principles abroad.

Obama has repeatedly offered support for the hopes and aspirations of the Egyptian people, yet over the course of the last two years, he has shunned the American people who have assembled regarding grievances such as:  wide open borders, corporate and bank bailouts, appointments of unelected Czars, Don’t ask – don’t tell, gay marriage, border security, illegal immigration and the list goes on.  The People have been screaming at the top of their lungs – a call that has fallen on a deaf President’s ears.  In November of 2010 the voters sent a clear message that we wanted change in Washington.  What we got in return was a defiant lame duck congress that forced “Don’t ask, don’t tell” against the will of the military, an attempt to pass the Dream Act granting children of illegal’s aliens citizenship, the START treaty which cuts our nuclear defense in half – all against the will of The People.  Finally, let’s not forget his crowning glory, force-feeding a Healthcare bill down the throats of the American people, usurping the Constitution, the Supreme law of the land.

I have to say it appears that our President is exalted in hypocrisy.  He has single handedly disenfranchised the American people via repeated swats from the hand’s of his controlling government.

Our concerns about a mosque near ground zero were met with a state department sponsored “world tour” for Imam Rauf .  This endeavor solicited donations for a mosque opposed by Americans, largely for its distasteful location.  When the people of Arizona “expressed” their justified concerns about border security (before and after an Arizona rancher was murdered), the Obama government responded by suing the State.  And the examples flow like water over Niagra……

President Obama has never expressed support for the American Tea Partiers who have outlined their critical desire to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.  It seems as if he has offered more support for those who continue to demonize and patronize the Tea Party.  As long as Obama continues to alienate American citizens who love their country, their freedom and their Constitution, we will have to assume he is against The People.

It is hard to take him seriously when he makes statements about democracy, freedom of expression, and universal rights, when he is rapidly eroding these fundamentals here at home.  So answer this one question, how can he support them abroad?
