Time To Reclaim Queensland

For many people this is what the Anna Bligh government has meant to them.

“I need to by something for my children but I have the water bill this week, the electricity bill next week, the car registration to save up for after that as well as the rates.”

“My house was flooded last year but I still haven’t received any money from the relief fund, what’s the government doing with it?”

“Electricity cost more than ever because the government profits from it. They profit and my family freeze in winter because I can no longer afford to heat my home.”

“I need a surgical procedure done but I have to wait over six months for it. I would go private but because of the spiralling cost of living I can’t afford private insurance anymore.”

“I used to go out with friends regularly but I can’t afford to see them as often.”

“I used to see some friends on the other side of town regularly but because of the massive price increase in public transport fares I can’t afford to see them as often.”

“I had a modestly paid job on the other side of town and I didn’t mind the travel time but the massive price increase in public transport fares on top of everything else made it impossible to keep.”

“Less people are travelling to my establishment from other parts of Brisbane due to the massive price increase in public transport fares.”

“Less people are using my services due to the spiralling cost of living. They no longer have anything to spare. They can barely budget for their basic needs and in turn my business has suffered.”

“My good wage is now a barely living wage, I can’t afford to eat healthily anymore and I’m getting sicker and the services I depend on have been cut.”

Meanwhile $100 million per week leaves the state to service the $89 Billion debt that the ALP created.

And that’s just the interest, to reduce the debt costs more.

That’s money that could fix many of the problems faced by Queensland but the ALP seems to believe that economic success is being able to service a pointless debt.

The ALP at all levels has been spending big at your expense with little or no benefit to you.

Money you could have spent on what you wanted or needed has been taken from you to pay for their spending.

So while you’re freezing, stuck at home and getting sicker consider carefully who you will vote for.

If you vote ALP you are endorsing their management of Queensland.
