ResMed Prepares to Move their $5.9 Billion Company to Texas

The latest casualty is ResMed, a medical device maker, with nearly 4000 employees.  Their company’s stock value is approximately $5.9 billion dollars

Peter Ferrell, their Chief Executive was quoted saying, ““The whole place is very Democratic, very union-friendly and
tax-unfriendly….And we just see the costs going up, and
the benefits going down. We see more regulation and more taxes, and more
of an anti-business kind of environment.”

Remember, the Democrats in Sacramento own our economy.  The Republicans in CA are powerless.  But consider this – I don’t think Sacramento gives a damn about this company or the hundreds of people they employ locally.  California’s legislature is content losing any job that is not related to green energy or saving Unicorns from extinction.  The only thing that will change California is when the people get truly concerned about how they are going to feed their families.  Historically, hunger always leads to revolts.
