Sellout! Walsh is going to vote for Obamacare
I just received a form-letter reply from my state rep, John Walsh of the 19th House district. It is a multi-page explanation of why he really, Really doesn’t like Obamacare, but he is going to vote for the 30 million dollar Medicaid expansion anyway (the one referred to by Tina Dupont as “the cheese in the trap”). This is especially significant because Mr. Walsh is one of the poobahs of the Republican party, the Speaker Pro Tempore of the House. Isn’t it just a few days ago that we were hearing
heartfelt speeches about how we must have “unity” in the Republican party? This is what the Michigan Republican leadership wants you to unite behind.
Perhaps Mr. Walsh is term-limited, and so feels immune from anything his constituents can do now. Remember that he, and his ilk, are the ones who will be showing up at committee meetings and TEA party events for the next two years, telling you how conservative they are. When he makes endorsements and recommendations in the future, remember who and what it is coming from – one of the double-talking hypocrites that think you are too stupid to remember his record. It’s time we started keeping score on these clowns.
