Really?

NBC news has hundreds of reporters. World wide resources. A multi-million dollar budget. Yet they are NOW, three years after the passage of the Affordable Healthcare Act, suddenly doing an investigative report that uncovers something that anyone with an internet connection and a couple of hours could have figured out anytime since 2009.

President Obama lied about key portions of Obamacare.

“President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.”

Duh.

This is as shocking as the sun rising in the morning. The higher premiums are still just the tip of the iceberg.

With many people refusing (or unable) to buy insurance from the exchanges, all of the newly enrolled people on the expanded Medicaid roles will place an increasing burden on the Medicaid system already swimming in trillions of dollars of unfunded commitments. This will accelerate the destruction of a system that already is unsustainable.

The hope all along from the left is to get to fully socialized medicine in the United States and that will be the new panacea to fix this problem. So buckle your seat belts. Because on the current path, the issues you see now will seem like “the good ol’ days.”

There are other paths we can take. Things like nullification of the unconstitutional Obamacare law. But there is no easy path away from disaster. While NBC may have awoken to some of the broken promises, they are a long way away from truly realizing the mess our nation is now.  Let’s all pray we wake up soon…

And that starts with  keeping Obamacare enablers like McAullife, Northam and Herring out of power on November 5.
