AMNESTY? NO! - WE Get Frustrated....THIS WORKS...I have done it!

I was the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Planning and Development —  Dallas, TX

As the “Admin”, it was my responsibility to open all of his mail.  ”I” was the one who made  the decisions of what should and should NOT be passed on to the Director.  After I gave him what only he had the authority to take action….I took care of the rest.   Most of it was either handed off to other departments or tossed in the trash.

This one brilliant woman WANTED to catch the Director’s attention. This is what she did:

HAND PRINT “4″ items yo want to make sure the politician reads.  Leave out all adjectives.  Adjectives tend to hit an “emotional nerve” and we went to ramble on and on.

On the inside in the content of the letter, describe the Negatives of Amnesty.  AGAIN, do not use adjective.s
