Un’s 2030 Agenda On Sustainable Development Is Agenda 21 On Steroids

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Let me first say, Agenda 21 isn’t a Republican vs Democrat or Left vs Right issue. Since we signed Agenda 21 we’ve had four Presidents, two Republican and two Democrat and all have moved it forward.

I called this talk “Agenda 21 games, Mockingjay” because I was telling my 13 year old twin grandsons that for the first time in our history we have a socialist running for President. I explained to them what socialism was and Jackson said, “It’s like Hunger Games”. If people want to understand what Agenda 21 would bring about they just need to look at how people live in Hunger Games, Divergent or the Giver. The elites live in comfort while everyone else lives in poverty. All in the name of fairness and social justice…..the goals of Agenda 21.

I learned about Agenda 21 at an American Freedom Alliance conference called, “Big Footprint: Is Green the New Tyranny?” Like many of you, I remember in the early 1970’s being told the earth was going to freeze over and we were going to die, so when the same people started telling us we were causing warming and if we didn’t de-industrialize we were going to die, I was…….skeptical. This conference had scientists from around the world and was moderated by Lord Christopher Monckton, one of the most famous and outspoken Climate Change skeptics.

You might wonder why I’m talking about Climate Change when the subject is Agenda 21. It’s because Climate Change is the mechanism being used to convince us that it is imperative that we accept the goals of Agenda 21. After all, who would go along with ending America as we know it unless we believe we were destroying the planet? I couldn’t believe any American would agree to a plan that would destroy our economy and deprive us of individual Liberty, the very thing this country was founded on. I immediately took out my iPad, went to the UN website…….and there it was.

It is said that if you repeat a BIG lie often enough people believe it. The bigger the lie the more it is believed.
So, let’s first examine the big lie that 97% of scientists agree man is causing global warming. This claim comes from a study done by an Australian blogger, John Cook. Though not a scientist, he started the website “Skeptical Science” to debunk global warming skeptics. Using key words he did a computer study of 12,000 peer papers and concluded 97% supported man causing global warming. A British paper The Register reported on the study with the headline, “97% of scientists agree humans cause global warming.” And the globalists ran with it. However, his study was quickly debunked when other scientists tried to repeat his study and looked at the papers he used. Cook had dropped hundreds of papers from renowned scientists. Plus he counted any paper that suggested man might have some contribution though they didn’t think it was of concern along with those that thought man was completely responsible. They found only 4, 014 papers expressed any opinion and of those only 41 papers endorsed man being the cause. The fact that the claim has been debunked has been published in various newspapers including the Wall Street Journal but that’s ignored as the lie keeps being repeated.

I attended a three day Climate Change Conference in Las Vegas a year ago and was in a room full of scientists who don’t agree that man causing Climate Change. Some of them think man’s activities might have some effect but if it does it’s of no concern. Although CO2 levels have increased, temperature hasn’t. There has been no warming in more than 18 years. And none of the computer model predictions have happened. Plus the earth has had much higher CO2 levels at various times, 17 times higher in the Jurassic Period, and it didn’t destroy the earth. The higher the CO2 levels the more abundant the plant life. CO2 is a nutrient not a pollutant.

Another proof that 97% meme is bogus is the “Petition Project”. It’s a petition signed by 31,000 scientists just in America that don’t believe man is causing Climate Change. Dr. Willie Soon, astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, sat at my table. He is one of the scientists who is responsible for the “Petition Project”. If you google the Petition Project you will see some claims that Mickey Mouse and Scary Spice signed it. That’s an easy claim to make since no one is going to go through 31,000 signatures to find them. Dr. Soon explained that they knew alarmists would try to sabotage the petition so they vetted every signature. This is a list of JUST the scientists in California who signed it. What is alarming is that we have members of Congress suggesting laws that would prevent skeptics from even speaking. There are newspapers that won’t publish letters to the editor that disagree with Climate Change. Schools that won’t allow anyone to speak against Climate Change. I never thought this could happen in America. The very nature of science is skepticism.

For years I had been wondering what was going on. We were entering trade agreements like NAFTA, GATT and now TPP, that put us at a disadvantage. Why would we do that? For instance, NAFTA allowed Mexican truckers to cross our borders to deliver goods. This hurt American truckers and the Mexican trucks didn’t comply with our regulations. So, whose responsibility is it to bring the Mexican trucks up to our regulations? We are!

And why does every city in the country seemed to be on the same page. Anyone who has traveled across the country knows that states have their own personalities and priorities. Why are they all building multiuse buildings, bike lanes, lite rail trains, and not building or repairing roads and freeways. But it wasn’t just American cities, cities around the world were doing the same. When I learned about Agenda 21 I understood why. Since then I’ve told anyone who would stand still long enough about Agenda 21.

Maurice Strong, who was the Secretary General of the UN and primary author of Agenda 21 introduced it at the Rio Earth Summit by saying, “…current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable”. Think about that. Do you want to live in Los Angeles without air conditioning? He also said, “Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” An interesting thing about Strong is that he became a very wealthy man through his investments in Canadian oil and American cattle ranches. But apparently he didn’t want anyone else to have the same opportunity.

Obama said during his 2007 campaign, “We can’t drive our SUV’s and eat as much as we want and keep our homes at 72 degrees at all times and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK?” That follows right along with what Maurice Strong said.

As I said, I couldn’t imagine how any American could commit us to this but one did. George Herbert Walker Bush signed Agenda 21 in 1992, as did leaders of 178 other countries. I can understand why poor countries signed it but I can’t understand why any of the Western, wealthy countries signed it. It calls for the redistribution of the wealth of the industrialized countries to the rest of the world. It requires us to lower our standard of living. Why would we want to do that?

Agenda 21 was the United Nations agenda for the 21st century. The goals of Agenda 21 are Social, Economic and Environmental Justice. Fully implemented, Agenda 21 would end privately owned homes, farms and ranches. It ends the use of fossil fuels. It would end privately owned automobiles and personal travel. It would end irrigation, pesticides and commercial fertilizers. It ends livestock production and meat consumption. It ends golf courses, ski resorts and water parks. AND they’d like to reduce the population of the world to under a billion….although it doesn’t mention how they plan to accomplish that.

The UN had planned to accomplish their goals by the end of the century. Well, they just moved up the date. Obama recently signed the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development…..as did more than 190 countries. They now plan to accomplish their goals by 2030. The agenda says, “We resolve, between now and 2030, to end poverty and hunger everywhere; to combat inequalities within and among countries….As we embark on this great collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind. This is an agenda of unprecedented scope and significance. It is accepted by all countries and is applicable to all.” “This can only be possible if wealth is shared and income inequality is addressed.”

So, they plan to end poverty and all fossil fuel use in 14 years. The reality is….you can’t end poverty if you end fossil fuel use. Cheap reliable energy is the life’s blood of any economy. The reason countries are poor is that their citizens have little or no access to cheap, abundant energy. Wind and solar is five times more expensive and can’t replace fossil fuels, certainly not by 2030. Coal can just be dug out of the ground and burned to cook or run engine. Nothing needs to be done to it. It doesn’t need to be manufactured. And what evidence do we have that redistributing our wealth to poor countries ruled by dictators would end poverty?

The executive secretary of the UN’s Climate Change Conferences, Christina Figueres, revealed the real agenda behind the Climate treaties when she said, “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.” She didn’t say if we don’t do this we will destroy the earth, she said it was to change the economic model.

You might wonder, as I did, why we don’t see legislation based on Agenda 21 or hear politicians or the media talk about it. I suspect they knew we wouldn’t like it.
Remember we’ve had four Presidents since the signing of Agenda 21 and none did anything to stop it. President Clinton took office six months after Agenda 21 was signed. One of his first Executive Orders was to create the President’s Council on Sustainable Development. The council created 12 Cabinet level positions to work with all the Cabinet Departments to implement Agenda 21. A Clinton advisor to the council was J. Gary Lawrence, who was also a city planner for Seattle, he said, “Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many….who would actively work to defeat any elected official undertaking Local Agenda 21. So we will call it something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management or smart growth”.

Agenda 21 is being implemented locally through ICLEI (International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives) and, of course, money comes attached to it. ICLEI is an International organization. It is in most countries. There are ICLEI cities in every state. California has 123 and counting. Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, San Diego, etc are all ICLEI cities. ICLEI cities are given money they have to spend on multiuse buildings, public transportation and everything green.

Another means being used is through the use of unelected, unaccountable regional planning commissions. Here in LA it’s called SCAG (Southern California Association of Governments). These regional planning commissions override local plans. Most of us have no idea they exist. I’ve been to several public SCAG meetings they hold to give the appearance of public approval. They show glossy video presentations that tell us how much we’re going to love living and working in the same area in “walkable communities” and using bikes or public transportation. Right, think about taking your Thanksgiving groceries home on a bus. As we speak there are apartment buildings being built in Santa Monica that have no tenant parking.

In order to achieve their goals they need to move America from an equal justice system to a social justice system. Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chair of ICLEI and Clerk of the County Court in Miami-Dade, Florida said “individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective……in the implementing of Sustainable Development.” In addition to ICLEI, Agenda 21 is being implemented through regulations, the EPA and endangered species. The assumption of Agenda 21 is that life is a zero-sum game and that the wealth of the world was made at the expense of the poor. In Agenda 21’s preamble it says, “The developmental and environmental objectives of Agenda 21 will require a substantial flow of new and additional financial resources to developing countries”. All the policies, we Republicans identify as failures of the Obama administration are actually successes if your intention is to redistribute our wealth and lower our standard of living. We have nearly 100 million working age Americans out of work. We are now only the 11th most economically free country and our credit rating has been lowered twice. The high corporate taxes that drive companies out of the country, open borders and the financial burden of supporting the mostly poor, uneducated illegal aliens and refugees is a win, win for the globalists.

Agenda 21 fully implemented would result in global governance with the UN being the governing body. Let’s be honest, if man really were destroying the world the only solution would be global governance. Every country would have to live under the same rules but while Western countries are reducing their use of fossil fuels China is building nearly one coal plant a day and India is not far behind. Various countries are getting deferments because they are developing countries. If we were in the desperate straits we’re told we’re in why would any country be exempt, for any reason, even for a little while? But the reality is that the richer a country, the cleaner they are. America has the cleanest air and water in the world. And we do because we can afford it. If our wealth is given away so will our ability to maintain clean air and water. Our use of fossil fuels is also not the problem. There are satellites that track CO2 concentrations around the world and America has some of the lowest concentrations.

Everyone should understand the UN’s position on private property. At the 1971 UN Habitat I Conference they had this to say about private property, “Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.”

Restriction of land use is another UN goal. The UN Biodiversity Treaty regulated how land could be used and animals have priority over humans. This map shows what the treaty would result in. (show map) Although the treaty was not ratified it is being implemented through the Wildlands projects and endangered species policies. For all intents and purposes, animals will run free and humans will live in “human habitats”. The biodiversity/wildlands projects are behind so much of what is happening today. This is why family ranches that have been grazing cattle on Federal land since this country was settled are having confrontations with Feds. This is why water was turned off to the family farms in the San Joaquin Valley, the former “Breadbasket of America”. This is why roads into forests are being torn up and dams being taken down. We’re being told we have to stop eating meat because cattle fart. Dinosaurs didn’t fart? Don’t Elephants fart? Buffalo, deer, horses, sheep? Why are cattle being singled out? Aren’t they God’s creatures and aren’t they indigenous to earth? When this country was being settled we had buffalo herds as large as todays cattle herds.

Another way they are going to achieve their goals and this is a major one, is through our children. I read the UNESCO world education plan about the same time I learned about Agenda 21. It’s actually the basis of Common Core. It said answers weren’t as important as how the student arrived at them. It said truth can be decided by consensus. It also required everything to be gender neutral. Chapter 25 of Agenda 21 says we need to “enlist and empower our children and youth in reaching for sustainability”. Keep in mind that “sustainability” is a euphemism for socialism or top down control. Every subject is used to propagandize our kids. Fairness, social justice, saving the earth, questioning their values and their gender are all imbedded in their classes. Anti-Capitalism, anti-Christianity, pro-Climate Change and socialism is sprinkled throughout curriculum, not necessarily by name but in terms of “fairness” and “social justice”. Plus a lot of shaming. An example is a lesson from a grade school text book that said by two years old an American child has a larger carbon footprint than a Tanzanian has in their entire lifetime. What they neglect to mention is that a Tanzanian’s life expectancy is 48 years because they have no indoor plumbing, refrigeration, clean water or electricity. I think increasing their carbon footprint would be preferable than lowering ours.

Psychiatrist Chester M. Pierce made these remarks at the Childhood International Education Seminar in 1973, “Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well – by creating the international child of the future”. Another psychiatrist, G. Brock Chisholm, founder of the World Federation of Mental Health said, “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism and religious dogmas..”

Our children have been being indoctrinated for years. I believe that’s why so many young people now support Socialism. They aren’t being taught that Capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than any other system. They aren’t being taught civics. They don’t know why our Constitution is so valuable.

I witnessed this first hand when I attended a Climate Change conference at UCSB a few months ago. The organizers opened the conference with, “Welcome, Comrades!” and expressed how happy they were to be in a room full of Marxists. They wore T-shirts I thought were very revealing that said, “Not Climate Change, System Change”. They had sessions on how Capitalism is paternalistic and oppressive to women. I reminded them women, like Margaret Thatcher and Golda Maier have lead countries. I told them we have women CEO’s and business owners, Governors, Senators and Secretaries of State. They had a session on Capitalism being racist. I told them to explain Oprah, Michael Jordan, Denzel Washington, Chris Rick, Beyonce’, Obama and others. I asked them where in the world have so many Blacks achieved the success, wealth and fame as they have in America under Capitalism? They looked at me as if I had two heads.

You can go to the UN website and look most of this up. They’re very proud of their new 2030 agreement. This agreement goes into detail on the importance of open borders and the rights of migrants. The rights of migrants apparently supersede our rights. We are to adjust to them not them to us. There are 17 goals in the new agreement, goal one is to end poverty, as if that were possible. Goal 10 is to reduce inequity among countries, which is code for wealth redistribution. But also it calls for “orderly, safe, regular migration” of impoverished people from undeveloped countries to developed countries. Right now HUD regulations are requiring the mandatory relocation of low income families into middle class and affluent neighborhoods.

I believe all this is what Michelle Obama was alluding to when she said, “Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we are going to have to change our traditions, our history, we are going to have to move into a different place as a nation to provide the kind of future we all want desperately for our children”. This isn’t the future I desperately want for my children but isn’t that what’s happening? Aren’t we changing our traditions, our culture and moving into a different place as a nation? Aren’t we redistributing our wealth? De-industrializing? Aren’t our religious rights under attack? Free speech? Gun rights? The Rule of Law? Our Constitution? And our way of life?

And tragically, this is all being supported by the Pope. His goals are similar to those of the UN 2030 goals. I went to the Catholic Church’s encyclical on Climate Change. The first slide on their power point presentation said, “man can no longer have dominion over the earth”. Whether or not you’re a Catholic, whether or not you’re a Christian, whether or not you believe in God, the Pope is supposed to. But apparently, the Pope doesn’t believe the Bible or the book of Genesis. The Bible says God is omniscient, all knowing, that nothing is hidden from his eyes. Some may not believe that is true, but again, the Pope is supposed to. His position is that God made a rather serious mistake, that he didn’t realize man could destroy the world with the breath he exhales.

People ask me what we can do about this. I’d love to say I had some brilliant solution but I don’t. The leaders of nearly every country in the world have agreed to this fundamental transformation the world’s economic development model. It’s true that Agenda 21 and the new 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development have never been ratified so we CAN pull out of them. But will the rest of the world let us? What most of us don’t understand is that if a President signs an agreement that isn’t ratified, it doesn’t just go away, it’s considered a “soft law” and although it’s not legally binding the UN still expects it to be honored.

But what I do know is that we can’t do anything unless we understand what is happening and why it’s happening. And what I do know is that we can’t keep our heads in the sand. Conservatives should be on every City Council, every school board, every SCAG board, every planning commission. This is where it’s being implemented and we need to be there to stop it. If we do nothing we may not be hunting people for sport, but we will be living like Katniss Everdeen.
